Desde el mayor portal de vídeos mundial han publicado listados con lo más popular de YouTube en 2015, habituales recopilaciones cuando tenemos las navidades encima y el año toca a su fin.

YouTube no solamente cuenta el número de visitas a la hora de seleccionar lo más popular del año sino que valora la tendencia, su viralidad, comentarios o el número de veces que se ha compartido.

Con ello, ha elaborado listados en varias categorías donde destacan los vídeos musicales, grandes anuncios de películas y también tráilers de videojuegos. En número de reproducciones el ganador absoluto ha sido el See You Again del rapero Wiz Khalifa como homenaje al fallecido Paul Walker y que se incluye en la banda sonora de la película Furious 7. 1.200 millones de reproducciones ha tenido este vídeo, muestra de la popularidad del portal de vídeos.
