Transcend acaba de anunciar su nuevo dispositivo de almacenamiento SSD en formato mSATA, perfecto para portátiles y equipos de última generación al igual que para ultrabooks.

La unidad no es la más rápida del mercado ya que nos encontramos con una controladora SATA 3Gbps que junto con las memorias MLC NAND que integra Transcend MSM610 ofrece unas tasas de transferencia de lectura y escritura de 245 Mbytes/s y 48 Mbytes/s respectivamente.

El SSD mSATA de Transcend tiene unas medidas de 26,8 mm × 29,85 mm × 3,85 mm y es compatible con las tecnologías S.M.A.R.T, TRIM y NQC haciendo que tu ordenador funcione de manera completamente fluida. Para hacernos una idea este SSD es capaz de ofrecer datos al sistema de 2 a 4 veces más rápido de un disco duro convencional.

Transcend MSM610 está disponible en capacidades de 16, 32 y 64 Gbytes y dispone de un sistema de gestión de energía que evita la pérdida de datos en caso de un corte de energía inesperado.
