ASUS Zenbook Infinity, Ultrabook de vídrio y aluminio que impresionará en el Computex

ASUS ha anunciado el debut en el Computex del Ultrabook Zenbook Infinity, un impresionante ultraligero de 13,3 pulgadas con grosor de 15 milímetros y el primero del mercado que tendrá un tratamiento Gorilla Glass 3 en su tapa.

ASUS prepara un gran desembarco en la feria Computex que se celebrará en su país a finales de junio. Según la firma de Taiwán, serán productos “que reinventarán la forma de interactuar con los ordenadores de sobremesa, ordenadores portátiles, teléfonos inteligentes, tablets y mucho más”.

Entre ellos y además de un tablet de medio formato Transformer con Windows 8 y precio por debajo de los 300 dólares, ha confirmado la llegada de este Zenbook Infinity.

Un Ultrabook con pantalla de 13,3 pulgadas y grandes resoluciones que incluirá chips de la nueva plataforma de procesamiento Intel Haswell y que podrá presumir de una delgadez extrema: 15,5 milímetros de grosor, un 14 por ciento inferior de los ya delgados Zenbook actuales.

El Infinity será además, el primer equipo del mercado que utilizará Gorilla Glass 3 en la tapa y en el reposamuñecas de este Ultrabook. Un tratamiento de la firma Corning que te sonará al incluirse en un buen número de smartphones aunque generalmente para aumentar la protección y resistencia de la pantalla.

By incorporating Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with Native Damage Resistance (NDR) on the outer lid and keyboard surround, Zenbook Infinity attains a dazzling first for notebook design – a sheer, high-gloss, finish that’s highly resistant to scuff marks and scratches.

New Corning Gorilla Glass 3 has the same durability and thinness as Gorilla Glass 2, but uses Corning’s proprietary NDR glass composition for superior scratch resistance, reduced scratch visibility and improved toughness. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with NDR has three times the scratch resistance of Gorilla Glass 2, and gives a 40% reduction in the number of highly visible scratches with a 40% improvement in retained strength if a deep scratch does occur.
